Hey, wait a second, as far as I could see XAMPP 1.8.1 includes PHP 5.4.7.

Latest versions of Imagevue are working fine with php 5.4, and should work with 5.5 but this is my educated guess.

Are you running the latest version?

It is very poor.
I have to use an older version (which I do not) with the latest version because I work and blocks Iexplorer and chrome to enter the page.
