Photos being displayed at full size in the html gallery

Hello:
I have one question regarding the html galleries... When I click on a photo thumbnail to see an image, it gets displayed at full size. I'm uploading them at 1500 px (longest edge) because I want them to display big, if screen size allows for it, on the flash galleries. But it looks like this means that on the html galleries, the images will show straight at full size, thus overflowing the screen limits blatantly on many displays (portrait-oriented photos are awfully displayed since only roughly 50% of it will fit on a 22" monitor, then you have to scroll).
Is there anyway to resize the images displayed in the html gallery, even if it means previously building alternate, manually resized versions? And, if there's absolutely no solution (other than making all my images 800 px longest edge or less, which is no option for me), then, I could build a separate html gallery, but how would I point imagevue to my alternative "html-site" instead of the imagevue generated one? I mean, automatically (I would rather avoid an intro screen to explicitly choose flash/html, and instead rely on the imagevue automatic detection).
Thanks a lot for your help and keep up your excellent work!
