Photo Gallery Forums

Currently on the first upload into a gallery the folder icon is changed to an image icon. I find this confusing since later on I think I am operating on an image and not a folder once the icon is changed. This has caused me to delete a folder when I thought I was deleting an image. I realize I can clear this image and return to the folder icon but it as an unnecessary step that I forget to do. It would be nice to have a parameter in the Settings file to either replace the folder icon or not.

I guess this could be improved. I think ultimately, it would perhaps be better with a large folder icon, with an overlaying preview image. This would make sure its obvious that this is a folder, while the smaller image indicates the content.

You could click the 3rd display item as in this screenshot to get folder-views without preview images:
