28 Oct 2012, 13:09

Hi MjauMjau :)

I hope all is alright and your side :)

I have found this option in the admin panel :

Path to FFMPEG:
FFMPEG is needed to create thumbnails for video files, if this path is empty, it will probe just 'ffmpeg'

What is is for ?

Its for create video Thumbnails right ?

If yes where would be possible to find the library ?
is it possible to use it on an apache server ?

A little help about that would be appreciated

have a good day and Really Good job as usual :)

Yes ffmpeg is a console application that handles video files, if your Imagevue installation is creating thumbnails for video files - you're set and there is nothing else required.

If it doesn't –I don't think you can install ffmpeg on the server yourself and your best bet is to contact your hosting support.

If however ffmpeg is installed but is not being called - you can use ffmpeg path setting to provide the path (that information can be provided by your hosting support as well)
