Is there a way of sorting photos within a gallery in ascending order (by file name: 1.jpg, 2jpg, 3jpg...)? When I select ascending order, I get: 1.jpg, 10.jpg, 100.jpg, 101.jpg, 102.jpg...

That is because the above in fact is true ascending order, same as below:

1
102
19999999999999
2
20000000000001

That is also why cameras save files like this multiple ciphers, so that the true order is taken into consideration:

00000001.jpg
00000002.jpg
00000011.jpg
00002345.jpg

You should do the same ... If not, you would need to sort manually or by title.
