I would like to install Powerpack just to use the footer and to have the latest pictures on the frontpage. Basically I can do without the footer if there's any way to have the latest uploaded pictures on the frontpage. Is there?
In any case I don't have MySQL on the gallery webserver so my questions are
1 - Can I install PP also if I don't have MySQL?
2 - Can I enable just the footer and the latest pictures on the frontpage?

Sorry for the delay, I'm on holidays for 3 weeks.
1. Yes, right now you can install PP if you don't have MySQL. The current PP version require SQL for votes and guestbook, so if you don't use any of these features, you don't need to have MySQL database .
Keep in mind that the next version of PP (which I'm working on) will require SQL database.
2. Yes. You can disable all features that you don't need and enable only these which you want to use.
