Upgrade Question

Hi,

Two upgrade related questions:

1. How do I know what version I'm running?
2. How do I upgrade from version 2.x to the latest version? What I'm really asking is the settings. Am I going to lose them? Will I have to set them up one by one?

Add ?a=index after your gallery URL to check version. Example:
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/?a=index

No, you will not loose your settings. Any time you make changes to settings in Imagevue, the changes are stored in a unique file under the iv-config folder. That is why we specifically express to not overwrite the content folder and the iv-config folder when you upgrade. You will keep your images/folder from the content folder, and also any theme/settings changes you made, that are stored in the iv-config folder.
