PowerPack V2.2 For Imagevue X2.8.1

08 Jul 2012, 09:08

Just released newest version of powerPack :wink:

The PowerPack V2.2 works only with new Imagevue X2.8.1 !

Lot of improvements and extra features:
  • PowerPack is now loaded directly into imagevue if the powerPack is installed and turned on. No need to set extras_module.swf as theme background anymore! Works also with default themes!;
  • CSS is prepared dynamically at first load if CSS powerPack styles are not set yet. So, powerPack is CSS-styled even with default themes! ;
  • New option: "Turn Off PowerPack" in admin panel;
  • New "custom news" in the News Module!

  • Possibility to change main screen icons (upload your own to: extras/powerPack/icons/);

  • New option to set spaces between main screen icons and sorting them (you can integrate layout with your "social thingy");
    integrationWithSocial.jpg
    integrationWithSocial.jpg (102.79 KiB) Viewed 10292 times
  • Set width and height of the main screen buttons;
  • Standardized Date and time format, and possibility to change it "on the fly" in the admin panel. Example:
    encoded default format: 08072012145020 (dmYHis)
    decoder: "d.m.Y, H:i:s" = output: "08.07.2012, 14:50:20"
    decoder: "at: h:i, on: d.m.y " = output: "at: 2:50 PM, on: 08.07.12"
  • Fixed: main buttons are displaying now at top of the image (if the image is larger than screen size). Look at previous screenshoot above.
  • Fixed: guestbook background display when no entries yet.
  • Added cache for the news module. When you have set "new photos" at first position, click on "new comments" and close news module, the next time when you open news module (in the same session), it will show "new comments" instead of "new photos".
  • And much more ++.

im uploading the new new imagevuex 2.8.1 and powerpack again, and i will test this :)

I have a suggestion for you and for mjau-mjau and nick. When you correct files of imagevuex and powerpack for an issue only, why you dont change the number of version? for example 2.8.1 -> 2.8.1.x , and 2.2 -> 2.2.x ?

For example, for this maintenance, we dont have any news for the new release, except the "date" in download section of imagevuex...
Dont worry, its only a suggestion, because your work is fantastic :D

I will repost a new anwser for my test in 15 minutes i think :)

Exactly this way should it works...
Try to redownload and replace file:
extras/powerPack/news_module/news_admin.php
voyezvousca wrote:-on IE :
What IE version exactly is it?
I have checked on IE 9 and works fine (I don't have other version installed)

Working perfect now :) thx a lot!

For IE, i have checked to on other computer with vista, so IE9 and it work perfectly. On my computer is Windows 8 pre-release, so with IE10, and dont work, but i think its not rly important for now, its only a pre-release :D

So, i have a little end ask :)
Where and how i can change manually (i mean in css) the color and size of the number of comment on image, because this :

Thx you a lot for your reactivity :)

the CSS style for this is :
Code
.powerpack_topbar_comments_number{
}
if you have updated CSS by installator, then it's probably already exist in your CSS stylesheet (somewhere at the bottom), and you need to only adopt color(size, etc...) for this style.

If not, just add it manually in your theme stylesheet.

You can ry to change your menu logo to the local image instead of "http://", this may help.
