To open a video from thumbnails, first go to admin -> settings -> settings.attributes.image, and check the “link” option. Thereafter, go to image.image.click, and set “link” as default. Then, navigate to your images in the admin, and you will see a new link field, where you can add a link, including a lightbox link similar as explained here:
https://www.photo.gallery/documentation/lightbox/

For example:
Code
javascript:lightbox('http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZHLNS5m-aD4?rel=0&hd=1', {iframe:true, innerWidth:'640', innerHeight: '360'})

I've just uploaded 2.8.2 version, but thumbnails linking to youtube videos in mobile versions don't work the same.

Sorry, the "link" feature was not yet added to mobile, because there are a few complications. Please expect this shortly in X2.8.3 ... In the meantime, images with "link" feature are disabled in mobile, and you may wish to hide those folders on mobile for now. Sorry for any inconvenience. Even when we are able to add support, they will not display in a lightbox window like in the flash gallery ... Likely the operating system will simply redirect the Youtube application so they are viewed there ...

I've just uploaded 2.8.3.1 version, but videos are not displayed in mobile version.

What videos? I saw linked Youtube videos and Vimeo videos, but could not find any native videos on your server. You are also aware that they need to be in mp4 format if they are to run on mobile?

Being a bit more specific would help us help you.

I refer to your answer given two post above.

Ok, the problem here is a bit complicated: The interface that is used for browsing images on mobile devices, Photoswipe, breaks if we add images/thumbnails that have external links in them (as in your case, to Youtube or Vimeo). Therefore, we had to still hide thumbnails with external links as to not break it. Your option is to disable the photoswipe interface by selecting an alternative folder view mode:

Admin -> settings -> mobile.view, select Image.

We will look into this, but unfortunately, this is the only current solution to have your external links work in mobile version. Personally, I prefer this layout anyway, with nice large images in a scrolling page.

I've applied the new settings, you can view the results

Thumbnails are oversized, the effect is not very good.

It is not displaying thumbnails. It is displaying full-size images, which you seem to have created at the same size as your thumbnails:

(same)

The whole point of this optional layout, is that it would display full size images instead of thumbnails. So in your case, if you are going to use this solution as a compromise, you would need to add larger original size images. This would make the effect look good, although it is still only an optional solution to solve your initial problem unfortunately.

This is already how it works ...

If you add larger images (to be used as thumbnails), it will still display the thumbnails in desktop mode, while in mobile, it will display the larger resolution images vertically. Right now it is massively scaling up very small images.

What's for you the quickest way to add the large version image of the thumbnails, for not losing the youtube links inserted in every pic?Using ftp program and uploading images with same name of thumbnails (less tn_)?

You already uploaded images, but you uploaded the same size images as the resulting thumbnails. Ultimately, you should have uploaded larger size images, because the thumbnails would have been created at correct size from the larger images anyway. Simply replace the full size images on your server (by FTP), but not the thumbnails (the files starting with tn_).
