Sorry mate. I have huge hotchpotch in my emails and probably replied to wrong person...
As I'm out of time currently, I can't fix every problem personally.

The problem seems to be in files permitions and/or .htaccess file that blocking xml files.
This is all I can help you with this.

I don't see that PowerPack cannot be installed on X2.8.4, so I tried to install. Once logged in I am advised that "Ups... PHP Connection error :{ Probably some of the powerPack files/folders are missing........."

I followed the simple install instructions, have checked that files have been copied, disabled my site htaccess, with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Hugh

I guess the problem is in the main .htaccess file that prevent loading xml files.

What about this link (replace "YOUR GALLERY" with your gallery domain) :
Code
http://YOUR GALLERY.com/extras/powerPack/XML_reader.php?xmlTargetPath=../../iv-config/config.xml
If you get a blank page or error, then it's mean that the .htaccess file is blocking powerPack with reading xml files.

Is is possible that its not completible with latest gallery?

For me it works like a charm, running on Imaguevue 2.8.8! Did not get any errors during installation!

Did you upload all files correctly?

Hello.
Started playing around with the PowerPack. Two questions:

1. How to get rid of the background strip in both header and footer? I realize there has to be some sort of contrast between PowerPack buttons and the gallery background, so perhaps I can limit the strip to the extent of the buttons. Also, can I specify the color and the transparency (alpha} for this item? Essentially, I'd like to create the same look as on phillip.com.pl.

2. Where can find the counter setting for the footer?

Thank You.
