Hello.
Imagevue is a really very nice gallery. Easy to use and configure. It looks great. Thanks for that.

But I have to say that there is some limitation to configure design. I found a way out of design in my site - but I think that if you make some upgrade in next time - it will be very pleasure. I think, it is important not only for me, many people want individual and different design.

I suggest the following list:
1. Set up images margin for 4 sides:TOP,RIGHT,BOTTOM,LEFT. Like as for thumbnails. This is really necessary.
2. Set up the alignment of text in the main menu on the right or center.
3. Make the background image as float layer. It is need - if zoom pictures on all screen - all the same you must see the main logo of site. At that time - you can see only the main menu.
4. Set up different position of main menu, not only top left side (is not important as the previous but would like to).

The question is, how do you do this for different images sizes on different size screens when the image is set to align to the middle? If you margin methods like you are suggesting, it would basically "glue" an image to one of the sides. How would a 200 x 200px image display on a 2000px screen if you set 100px margin on left and right? It doesn't make sense, so things are a bit more complicated I'm afraid.

Do you mean for RTL text? We are trying to avoid more settings than necessary, and RTL simply is not good usability for menus.

What do you mean "float layer"? You can already have multiple backgrounds, some floating above the others. You mean you want to have some backgrounds float in front of the image being display? Ok if it is a logo, but it places a lot of requirements on the person playing with the settings. How will that look on small screen?

Yes, we agree this would be beneficial. At this point, as a flash gallery, it is a bit complicated because where would you move it? over the audioplayer? Moving the menu would cover other UI elements, and thus create a demand from the settings that you are responsible for not placing things on top of each other. We already have some problems with cascading UI items ...

I do not agree that it makes no sense. I'll try to explain.

The margins for image are working now. But is only same parameters. I ask for different parameters for different sides. It working now for thumbnails in Imagevuex. And I can not understand why the image would basically "glue" to one of the sides.
For examples - position image with other resolution.

I meant that when we "zoom" the image - the logo is hidden. It is not very good. I've seen it on many sites that powered by Imagevuex.

1. Yes, I see what you mean, and perhaps this could have been put into life. However, it is still a complicated task because in your drawings, you have centered the image within the area excluding the margins. First of all, this means the image will not be centered on the screens, and instead be offset based on the margins for each side. Even if the image is small, it will not be centered on stage. So lets say you do 400px left margin and 50px right margin - Images, even small ones, will be centered further to the right. Furthermore, even if we somehow make it like this, it will need to affect everything else like descriptions (is there room on right of image depending on margin?), imagebuttons, frame. Then also there is "zoom" of course. At best very tedious and complicated, but I will give it a think.

2. Yes, unfortunately text align to right in the menu is not an option currently. I still don't like that layout, because immediately when you rename those items to something else than "menu1", then their left starting positions will differ and this simply is not good functionality by standard definition. Suggestion noted.

3. Unfortunately, Imagevue as a flash application is a compromise like most other galleries. Galleries that have scroll, have much more spacing opportunities because they allow for scrolling. I don't know what you are suggesting, but do you think the logo should be overlaying the image? I don't see how this is good since visitors are there to see the image, and not the logo overlaying the top left of the image, which they must have seen by now anyway. Apart fromt he technical fact that logos are normally added as "background_image", which is just that: background image.
