PowerPack V2.0 Release Candidate

15 Jan 2012, 10:02

So, Here it is - PowerPack V2.0 RC.

What's changed compared to V2.0 BETA:
  1. NEW INSTALLATOR / MANAGER
Should works without errors (I hope).
  2. INDEPENDENT LOGIN
Login and password are basicly the same as in your imagevue admin panel, altough they must be verified separately by installator, in case that currently logged user might be restricted-admin (restricted only to some content folder).
Also live-admin panels in your gallery requires you to be logged and remembered in powerPack manager/installator.
  3. HTML UPLOADER
News module works now also with HTML-uploader.
  4. FIXED NEWS MODULE
Thumbnails in news module shouldn't be anymore displayed incorrectly.
  5. FEW SMALL FIXES
Fixed small issues in guestbook, comment system and main module

As always - Read README.txt before you'll do anything.

More info, tips and tweeks will come soon
Keep in touch and enjoy! :) .

So, I installed the V2.0. Works without problems. Wircklich a supper supplement to the Page!
Big compliment for your work!
So, now I look even if I bring more to run the guest book, which I still have a problem.
'm Just not as well versed with the whole site, where exactly do I find the parameters?

Hey!

PowerPack header (news, fullscreen, language buttons) and footer do not show up with Firefox 9.0.1. Could anybody please confirm this?!

How to set a background for the news module? The close button has its fixed position but with only a few photos it looks a bit weird (there is a lot of space between the close button and the photos..). So a background would be cool to have a better contrast..

Howsoever, I love this PowerPack!

What exactly parameters do you need?

Not confirmed - works good with FF 9.0.1 on my computer...

It's depends on Thumbnails Appearance settings.
If you choosed default Thumbnails Appearance settings, then news module looks like your normal thumbnails area in all folders. Then you can set backgorund in default imagevue thumbnails section (admin panel -> Themes -> your theme -> Thumbnails -> Thumbnails -> Thumbnailsarea Alpha).

If you choosed 'custom' Appearance settings then you can set Thumbnailsarea background in your theme in powerPack section (admin panel -> Themes -> your theme -> powerPack -> News Module -> Custom Thumbnails Appearance -> ...).

Hey!

I think I tripped over a bug :D :

I updated my gallery to newest version 2.7.6.5 and noticed after reinstalling the PowerPack that in gallery admin module it suddenly shows version 2.7.6.2 at the bottom of the page. I manually modified the layout.phtml in iv-admin/templates/ to show the correct version.

This was already explained.
I'm trying always check whether new imagevue files are the same as old ones, if so I don't get them from newest version (why should I modify the same file all the time).
The version displayed in admin is from release which I edited... This is not a bug and can not be fixed in any way.

Why?

Just imagine that I change version to 2.7.6.5, then you will see correct information in admin, but those who still using 2.7.6.2 will see wrong version after installing powerPack.

You can open it with Adobbe Flash CS4+
Unfortuatelly you'll not be able to open it in FL older than CS4.
