HI, all this is going to sound like a silly question and i'm new ot all of this

I'm lost as to how you upload an mp3 track, where do you even start?

If there a specific file i should place the track in and can this be done through the control panel

or do i need to directly load the Mp3 track to the relevant files, via ftp to the root directories on the website. If so which file?

Help would be greatly appreciated,.

You simply upload your mp3 tracks into the folder content/mp3/, because by default this folder is defined as your "audio folder" where the audioplayer looks for tracks. Most likely, you need to upload files here by FTP, because you may not be able to upload large files throguh the admin frontend (because of server limitations).
