Hi everyone,

I've bought one hosting service to make my own website using Imagevuex as start page. I've downloaded the trial demo, unpacked it and uploaded the folders "content, admin, config and includes" directly to the root of my website. But it doesn't work.

I think I'm doing something wrong. What's next? Because I enter the adress of my website and nothing has hapenned.

Can you help me, guys?

Thanks in advance.

You will have to give more info ..."Doesn't work" is not enough with out providing info.

Start with the hosting plan that you have and look at the system requirements for Imagevue.

Does your hosting support PHP 5.1.3 ...?

Ant.

I think you have to upload all files founded in .zip (especially index.php), not only folders

Well, my hosting supports PHP5, but I don't know if supports 5.1.3 version. I suppose so. I'll contact my hosting supplier tomorrow.

I've uploaded the folders and it's contents. But when I try to access to my imagevuex folder (www.blablabla.com/imagevuex) my browser doesn't recognise the path. That's the problem.

Did you upload the imagevue folder into the Root of your website? Did you rename it to "imagevuex" (as you have specified in your URL)? If your browser does not recognize the path, it's almost 100% sure that one of the above is not correct. Sometimes you need to upload the imagevue folder into a folder "www" or "public-www" to actually have them in the root of your website. Also, I am not sure where you got "imagevuex" folder name from ... By default, the folder is called something like "imagevue.x2.7.5.6" based on release version. The folder name will stay the same like this, unless you rename it to something else as specified in our quickstart guide:

mjau-mjau, you were completely right. I was putting the folders on the wrong place. So now it works and I have access to the admin panel. I'm already working on my web.

Thanks a lot. I'm going to watch the users galleries to get some ideas.
