I know this subject has been addressed before on a thousand occasions but I still can not find the answer as to where you make the vertical height adjustment to move "gallery menu" down. Why do you have the vertical offset on a different page than the horizontal adjustment? Anyone out there know how to change this. Any help would be appreciated.

Just goto Themes (edit your theme) and then: Menu - Mainmenu - Vertical Margin

The only place where you can change vertical position is for the "folder description". All that changed is the size of the box that is around the menu items. I want to move the "Gallery Menu" down so that my logo is above. I can't tell you how much time is wasted on doing this simple task year after year whenever I want to make changes or there is new version. I love imagevue but this one step is freaking ridiculous. Thanks for the help. Can you look again at your settings.

First, I appreciate your help. All this changes on my site is the size of the box that contains the word menu or before I changed it , gallery menu. It does not change the distance of the entire menu from the the top

Ah.. now I understand what your problem is...
You're right... it is not possible to move the entire menu vertical down...

There is an "x" axis or horizontal change item in the admin somewhere that I found but no "y" axis or vertical. I go through this every time I change the look of my site and every time I spend a couple hours going through every single item on the menu looking for this change. If you look at how many people have this issue one would think that the directions would be very explicit. There are direction but they are weak and they don't show correctly where to make changes.

You can set the vertical offset for the content of the menu, but you can't offset the menu button/trigger itself, as it is attached to the top of screen. There are several reasons for this, mainly related to the interactivity of the opened menu, what event it triggers from, and when it needs to be vertically scrollable.
