Description from the metadata?

First of all I would like to apologise because my English is poor. Please, have patience with me.

I am writting this post to ask if it possible (in any way - if exists) that description (when I uplode the picture to the Imagevue) is being transfered from the metadata (exif...) which I had written into particular photo. I hope that I have explained my question clearly.

When the picture had been uploaded to the folder in my photoalbum in Imagevue, I noticed, that Imagevue read the image name (which is written in the TITLE for this image). Is it possible that also a DESCRIPTION is automaticly inserted from metadata which image contains? P.es. I have written a short description of the image in exif metadata of that image, in the "description" field - is it possible that the Imagevue transfers automaticly this data into his description box for this immage? Or it is the only way to make a description for immage to write it into Imagevue DESCRITION box - photo after photo?

I sincerely hope, that you can understand my request.

I am very pleased with Imagevue! Thank you for your work. Ivan

Have you read this? - https://www.photo.gallery/documentation/exif/

I don't know though if it answers your question since I don't feel like I understand what you mean entirely.

Imagevue does read Title and Description from EXIF, IPTC and XMP, but the problem is there are no strict specs for the meta-data and every manufacturer and software maker seem to interpret them in it's own way.

Could you please send the image in question that has description to us for test?
