Imagetagging/Imagemap like facebook & co?

Hi,
is there a possibility to implement a Facebook like tagging solution?
For example: I want to tag(name) every human on a family picture with 10 people is this possible? Or usage of scripts from this site

It would be possible to add tagging somehow, but how would it be used in the frontend? You want to have bordered areas on the image where the visitor can hover mouse to get more information?

Yes i want just that, on a picture with 10 people an area on every person, when hovered, displays the name, etc of the person.

I would have to say that this would be a lot of backend work to create a face-tagging system for a small system that is targeted towards being a photo portfolio ... We will take it into consideration. Thanks for the suggestion!
