Displaying a PDF file

28 Aug 2011, 11:36

Hello all,

Since I updated my gallery to the latest version, the way of displaying a PDF file is changed. When clicking a menu option, you should see a thumb of the PDF file, as you can see in the image below.

But, at this moment you first see a gray text 'pop-up' which has to be closed to view/download the PDF file.

I think it's something in de folder parameters. Could you help me to only show the PDF thumb as before?

Thanks in advance!

Right .. This happens because your folder only has a single file, and therefore Imagevue is attempting to open the file directly because it does not see any need to display only a single thumbnail (when there is only one).

What I am curious about though, is why do you even need to add it inside a folder leading to so many clicks from the user? If there is only a single PDF file, then why not have a menu item "Download PDF" (etc.) that links directly to the document instead of opening the thumbnails at all?
