There is not a CSS option to change the style of the "active" menu item text ... Instead, you have a theme setting: Admin -> Themes -> Edit your Theme -> menu.mainmenu.menuitem.opacity_active ...

I will consider adding an "active" state for the main menu in CSS for next release ...

Also ı was looking for the same thing, is there any way to do it before the next release.
