Clicking on Photoblind

Hi,

(Wasn't sure where to post this general 'support' question, so here it is in Admin -- please feel free to move).

On the demo, you're using the Photomod Photoblinds as the intro page, and when you click on the Photoblind picture it takes you to the next page. How did you do that?

Thanks

You can find this yourself.
Just enter the admin of the demo with this link:
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/iv-admin/index.php
Login in as guest/guest
Go to the folder Start Page.
In the parameters field you see that one of the parameters is: click=#/content/Fancy/

Nice, I did not know that click can also be assigned as a folder parameter.
I myself have got a startfolder with a slideshow in which I assigned a link to every image, but by assigning click on folder level it is only necessary to do so once.

EDIT:
Alas, my startfolder is 'just' a folder that starts a slideshow (by means of the setting 'image.slideshow.autostart=true') and is not the Filemod 'slideshow'.
(off-topic: the reason why I do not use the filemod 'slideshow' is that it will NOT resize pictures to fit neatly in the stage)

The parameter 'click' only works for Filemods.
So, in my case I do have to repeat a link in the link-field for every image.

Karl, is it an idea to add 'click' as a standard folder parameter?

Probably ... problem being that when you are running a standard folder, it is running the entire eco-system of functionality and would be a bit tedious to implement an overlaying "click" parameter. The "click" parameter is really only a parameter created specifically for the filemods, which on't really have any other functionality.

Well, don't bother then... it's no problem to add a link to the seperate images...
