Title : Lightroom VS ImagevueX.

I would suggest a trend for future releases:
for managing my photos, I use Lightroom software. Very convenient because ImagevueX retrieves the description without problem. By cons, there in the software field "Title" it does not seem to be taken into account, even with the optiion "autotitle" enabled. That may be a bad setup for me. In this case, I apologize.

Please provide a foto with title embedded for dissection. We use theese tags from iptc/exif:
IPTC: Headline
EXIF: DocumentName

Just for the record, do you want the "Software" to display in the title of your image? Seems a bit misleading, no?

I'm not sure I understand your question. But if you ask me if I want the title of the image name of the software, the answer is no. For now at best, by activating "autotitle", it retrieves the file name. For example, "image001" for a file "image001.jpg". For my part, I get the title. See the highlighted part on the attached picture. Thank you.

I'm not really sure I understand your original question. It seems to me that Lightroom is populating the EXIF title with the name of the software. To me, this is a bit weird, because title of an image has no reason to be related to the software name ... Why are they not using a different field? I would at least imagine this should be a setting in Lightroom ...
So, as I understand, the problem is that your titles in Imagevue come out as "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.4.1" and you don't want that? (naturally). You can disable this EXIF inheritance features in admin -> settings -> settings.disableImageMeta. Other than this autotitling is enabled by default anyway, but I imagine that your best option would be to turn this feature OFF. Why? Because then your title will be empty by default, and only the NAME will display for the image ... If you don't want the name, then just populate the title field with whatever you want.

It's funny. It's not easy to understand when people don't talk same language. I'll try to make short. When I download a new picture in my gallery, the field "description " is completed by the good information. But it's not true for the field "title". It's completed by the filename, not by "title".

It's not exactly a problem it's just how we work with titles, we've asked Lightroom/Aperture users on forum and they told us to use Headline. Don't worry the update is coming.

Turns out this is ObjectName IPTC tag. Not title or anything. Now it is fixed, the fix will be available in the next update.

If you have the same problem, for your information, the problem is solved with the update 2.7.4 .
Thanks at Nick and Mjau-Mjau for this work.
