Form Page Not Working

29 May 2011, 20:09

Where do I input where an Input Form on my site is sent to?-- where do I put my email address so the input form info is sent to it? I did so in the Manage section, it seemed to work, but does not now. Email Templates does not seem to have a place to enter the address email is being sent to? Or is it somewhere else?

There are only two form templates -

1. The SENDLINK form, which sends an e-mail to the address that the visitor specifies in the form itself.

2. The CONTACT FORM. To specify the receiver e-mail for this form, go to admin -> settings -> settings.email.ownerEmail

Yes I see where that is in the Admin. But code seems to address everything about the Sender, and not about Where The Email Gets Sent. Where specifically do I enter my email address, where I want the email on the contact form sent to? I don't see this. Please get really specific, illustrative, etc

What code do you mean? Like I said, go to admin, click settings: settings>email>ownerEmail <-- This is the email where contact form emails get sent. There are no other fields for this ...

You can add more than one email in that field, just separate them with comma. Contact emails will be sent to each.

Have done this. Does not work when being sent to a Gmail account. Works on the site's address, but its not the one I prefer.

Unfortunately, this is related to your domain + the server + Gmails spam filters. Imagevue is sending the e-mail, but there may be a plethora of reasons why Gmail may consider it a spam e-mail. Tried checking your spam? Did you try to enable the SMTP setting under your email settings? It might make a difference ...

Unfortunately, it is out of our control after Imagevue sends the e-mail from the server ...

Checked it... but I'm not having problems with two e-mail addresses and in which one of them is gmail...

Do you see the email in GMail's Spam folder?

I am struggeling with the same issue.. well, i did find out something weird.

I have a regular gmail address and my futuretunes.com address.. the mail from my futuretunes domain is handled by gmail as explained here;
http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ ... wn-domain/

i have both my futuretunes and gmail addresses defined in vue's 'owner e-mail'. The mail is coming thru to my gmailaddress, but the futuretunes address handled by gmail is not getting anything not even in it's spam folder. Even tho the gmail settings of both accounts are the exact same.

Weird!

Not sure about this, gmail works in mysterious ways ... Do you mean you added two separate e-mail addresses, and it only sends to one? How can the gmail settings be exactly the same? If they are, it means they are the same account just with an alias, which could explain it ... Sorry, this pit goes deep sometimes its hard for us to tell, Imagevue just gives the letter to the postman, and the post needs to deliver it ...
