Well... I don't realy know if this will be complicated for you, and how big newbie you are .
It need some experience with actionScript, PHP, XML, SQL... If you have minimum basic knowledge of those script languages, then you can do anything (even better than me )

When I begin play with imagevue I was also newbie (I could only do something in AS3) , but I was reading lot of tutorials, trying, and step by step slowly forward...

"Last added photos" module is now full automatic (updated when uploading photos), and quickly accessed anywhere on the site .

There it is: A brand new power-pack for imagevue X2.7.5 (which is continuation of the button-bar that I have posted before somewhere...). I hope that developers will not have anything against it, because we will going to overwriting some of the imagevue files .

3. NEWS SYSTEM, FULLY INTEGRATED WITH IMAGEVUE UPLOADER AND MANAGE SECTION IN ADMIN PANEL (sensitive on all admin operations on the files - upload, rename, delete, move...)
4. DARKEN BACKGROUND IN CONTENT VIEW
5. QUICK LANGUAGE SWITCH BUTTON
6. FOOTER
7. EVERYTHING FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE FROM....... YES! - ADMIN PANEL!
8. ALL MODULES HAVE MULTI LANGUAGE SUPPORT (2 different languages);
9. EVERYTHING IS FULLY AUTOMATIZED

HOW TO INSTALL?

I don't realy know... - joke

1. Download .zip;
2. Unzip zip;
3. Upload folder "extras" right to your gallery root (see on the screen below)
4. Go to browser, type your gallery url + /extras/quick_install/install.swf (for example: http://www.phillip.com.pl/extras/quick_ ... nstall.swf )
5. follow the instructions on the screen.

Once you successfuly installed a POWER-PACK-beta1 , I recommend you delete folder "quick_install" for safety reasons (install.swf file is not protected, so somebody may access to your instalator).

NOTE: READ FIRST ABOUT LIMITATIONS AND REQUIRMENTS IN INSTALATOR MODULE!

NOTE 2: PHP files are not perfect coded, so any bugs please report here, not in other topics on the forum

NOTE3: I checked instalation proggress and POWER-PACK itselfs on 2 different servers, there was everything ok, but on some servers it can give some errors.
Also different settings in gallery may cause problems - I didn't check all combinations of settings (just impossible).

I'm 100% sure that imagevue developers can do those things much better than me
I've just gave an options (for a while) for people who need comment / voting system, because until imagevue use only xml's for retrieving data, all kind of voting pools would be little dangerous to integrate (server performance reasons).
Also the footer and darken background in content view - very simple and small things, but many people ask me if those things comming from imagevue, and where in admin panel they can set them

Hello voyezvousca.

It's because for some reason**, your database data (server or login or password or DB name) is incorrect.
You have to change data in: /extras/vote_system/loginData.php file (or restart instalation)

Also make sure, that file SQL.sql is correctly imported to your database.


** the instalator is not perfect. I'm not good php coder, so sometimes instalation may not be finished like it supposed to be . In next release I will make better installer.
