Size of Thumbnails? What am I doing wrong?

Hi there,

fist of all, I am testing this great tool since today and like it a lot... so keep developing this great tool.

Now to my enquiry - after testing arround while I wanted to change the size of the thumbnails within a gallery.
So here is a screenshot how my gallery looks like:
Bildschirmfoto 2011-05-11 um 20.37.02.png
Bildschirmfoto 2011-05-11 um 20.37.02.png (229.31 KiB) Viewed 3506 times
But after that I have seen a site from one of your customers and it looked like this:
Bildschirmfoto-2011-05-11-um-20.36.44.jpg
Bildschirmfoto-2011-05-11-um-20.36.44.jpg (79.39 KiB) Viewed 3506 times
How did he do that, that his thumbnails are much bigger than mine and are sorted in this kind of style... like two above and two below?

Thanks in advance

Regards

You can easily change the size of your thumbnails. Please read here for more details:
https://www.photo.gallery/documentation/create-thumbnails/

As for the vertical stacking you see from that other website, this often happens naturally when you increase the thumbnail size, because thumbs need to wrap onto a new line. However, this also depends on amount of thumbnails and the visitors screen dimensions. You have some control over the virtual thumbnails area (an area where the thumbnails are rendered within) by going to admin -> settings -> thumbnails.thumbnails.max_width and .max_height
