You mean the visitor clicks a button and an e-mail client window pops up instead of using the Imagevue e-mail widget?

i mean the share button (facebook, twitter, etc.. ). when user hover on the share button there is Share via email, when user selected this the imagevue e-mail widget will activated.

The share-button only displays 3rd party sharing/social services, but I can understand that it may be a good point to add the Imagevue-native e-mail share button into this menu also. Am I understanding you correctly?

We have now added email as an option for the share menu, and in fact enabled it by default. If the Imagevue e-mailer is enabled, it will use the native Imagevue module to send links for images. If not, it will use the AddThis service to send an e-mail. It will also use the AddThis service to send links for non-image pages, because the Imagevue e-mailer currently only works with pictures (not textpages or thumbnails pages).

This means some people may wish to disable the dedicated Imagevue sendLink button in imagebuttons and/or maincontrols, and instead use the email button that is integrated into the share menu.

We have also reduced the default sharing options to: email, facebook ,twitter, more. The others are still available in config of course, but we don't see any value in having all the options which most visitors will not use.

Maybe a small bug :

- when using the share menu on an image : imagevue use the "Imagevue e-mailer"
- when using the share menu on an folder, textpage : imagevue use the "AddThis service" instead of the "imagevue e-mailer"

Not quite sure what you are referring to. Where are the bugs? The Imagevue e-mail has always existed for IMAGES, and like you can see yourself, when you click the email-share button from this demo image, it open the Imagevue emailer.

Since the email link is part of the AddThis sharing menu, and also since the imagevue emailer has never worked for non-files (eg. textpages, folders etc), then it uses the AddThis email interface for non-files. See demo

OK it's not a bug but I thought that if we choose to use the "imagevue emailer" it will use for ALL emails sent by imagevue. (images AND text pages, folders.)

I prefer the "imagevue emailer" (instead of the"addthis emailer"), the apperance is more professional.

Makes sense ... I will add this to our todo list, as we should be able to use the Imagevue e-mailer for all pages - It would require filtering page types and fixing the email template a bit. Just as of right now after moving the "imagevue share image" button to the sharing menu (like this topic suggests), it still only supports images.
