Bug Safari with new flash player

15 Mar 2011, 14:58

I encountered a bug with imagevue 2.6.4 running fullscreen under Safari 5.0.4 and flash player 10,2,152,33 (Mac OS X 10.6.6). The screen fills with the background color of the imagevue gallery but nothing else is shown. Also, when I press esc. and go back to window viewing the gallery becomes stuck and I have to reload it in order to get it working again.

In firefox 3.6.15 it works fine, so it's a Safari issue.

Seems to be a problem with Safari and the new flash player, other sites that use Flash also act up...

I'll try reinstalling.

I tried here on Mac OSX 10.6.6 | Safari 5.0.4 | Flash 10,2,152,33, and couldn't recreate the bug in my immediate tests.

There seems to be a problem with Safari 5.0.4, Flash 10,2,152,33 and the latest Java Update from Apple, see this threah on Adobe Support forums: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3549519#3549519

Haven't been able to correct it yet.

If anyone else has the same problem, download the latest Flash 10.3 beta from labs.adobe.com. Works fine for me after installing it.

So the problem is the latest stable flash 10.2 version.
