Hmm, are you saying that this is an issue that is newly introduced in latest release?

This is how the image controls look in the admin panel... the full screen button only shows up on videos.

Sorry, I haven't looked into this yet ... This is something I gotta consider from a greater perspective, so I will look into it for next main release. The small updates you see are usually just small typos or invisible bug fixes to some PHP files.
Just for the record: The video-fullscreen button is not the same as the normal fullscreen button.
Please have some patience with this. Also, don't you think that if the visitor clicks the fullscreen button, it is because they want the video in full screen? Why would you prevent them from having this option?

no worries Karl... just hadn't heard anything on this.
my videos are not very large and so when someone clicks full screen they are pixelated and not viewable. So the button on the screen is more of a distraction than a helpful piece of functionality.

I didn't see this in 2.7. Is this still on the radar?
Thanks
Alex

We already updated imagebuttons for video, so there are a few more available. The fullscreen button is still native to the video-player though, because it makes more sense to have it work like it does on Youtube and other video players. The fullscreen button is not part of the Imagebuttons by default anyway - Don't you think the visitor would have clicked this from the main controls or from somewhere else instead of wanting to go fullscreen strictly for the video?

Karl... I would prefer to have the option to customize... this would be consistent with the other areas of Imagevuex. In addition if the goal is to be consistent with youtube etc. then it would be great to add a volume control to the player

Yea the video volume button is under consideration of course. The goal is not to be identical to Youtube, but it is obvious for most viewers that the fullscreen button takes the video fullscreen. If we do add the normal fullscreen button, we can't replace the video fullscreen button ... So this means you will have 2xfullscreen buttons for videos if we enable it like you say.
