Editor Issue

Just updated to Ver 2.5.3
1.) STILL can't indent the first line of a paragraph on a textpage. The editor seems to remove any beginning spaces of a sentence that starts on a new line. This issue has made a complete mess of any pages I've edited with this new editor, and I haven't found any way to fix the pages, except going back to Imagevue 2.1.8 PLEASE please look into this.
2.) I have many many textpages that use internal links to other textpages. Starting in this new release 2.5.3, any textpage that is referenced from a previous textpage, does not display any of its images on the page. Only the FIRST textpage in a series of internally linked textpages will display the images on the page. Any following textpages leave the images blank. There positions are held, but no images appear.
Can I turn off the "intelligence" off in this editor. I know what I want the code to look like, but this editor is fighting me. Changing and removing what I know worked fine before IV 2.5 !
PM me if you want links and passwords to site. (if you still have my site/password, by all means - look around)
Joe

Sigh, actually we tried to make it better. We need to wrap text in p for text align to work. That's why editor changes code.
How are you indenting? With spaces?
Could you give a link to a page that could help us to see the missing image please?
In the end of the day Imagevue is just not good blogging platform. Maybe you could just simplify your layout a bit?

Nick, the indentation fix you (or Karl) gave me seems to work in FF and IE (even though you said it didn't work in IE) - Thanks - It's really great that I can continue to create pages that are consistent with each other and not backtrack, making lots of changes. Great Work

The issue above seems to be coming from the imagevue2.swf that is contained in version 2.5.3 When I switch that file back to version 2.5.2.4 of that file, I no longer have any issues with images not appearing in textpages. Hope this helps you locate and fix the problem.
3.) Another annoyance I've recently noticed, is that the mouse wheel no longer seems to work on textpages. It was really nice to scroll through a textpage with the mouse wheel instead of the scroll bar. Can we get the mouse wheel navigation on textpages back?

I am not 100% familar with your exact problems. However, we did release a new version:
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=6653&start=0
Also, in regards to mousewheel support. This was added not that long ago, and works under windows but not Mac.
There are no differences between browsers with the text layout in the Imagevue flash (the html version, yes perhaps). It may of course display differently inside your editor, but not in the actual flash gallery.
Do you have a link to your gallery so I can take a look at this issue with internal links you are experiencing?

Karl, I think your confusion the mouse wheel function I'm referring too.
I'm talking about the mouse wheel on TEXTPAGES moving the page content up and down. For as long as I can remember (years now), Imagevue has allowed the mouse wheel to scroll the textpage content up and down, asuming the page content was longer than the browser window. This feature no longer works as of your release 2.5.3. Beta 2.6 same results.
Likewise, some of your previous 2.5.X.X versions allowed the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on individual photos within the gallery. As of version 2.5.3, I can no longer use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on photos in the gallery.
I have upgraded to Beta 2.6 and the mouse wheel still does nothing in textpages (no scrolling) and photos (no zooming)
I'll PM you you with some examples of the internal link issues I'm talking about in the previous post, and textpage mouse wheel issue.

Are you using the windows platform?
I am currently on a mac, where mousewheel functionality is not enabled, but I will check in windows as soon as possible. I don't understand how it can have broke, but if it did, it has to get fixed ...
