Slideshow Filemod - Specifying Start Image

08 Jan 2011, 19:59

Is there a parameter that specifies the first image to be displayed in a slideshow? I am using a random sort but would like to specify what image to display first.

Thanks
Alex

Unfortunately, you can't get to both select start image and set the folder to random at the same time. Now that we have file-parameters, you could create your startpage slideshow with parameters instead of filemod. See here the slideshow only example:
https://www.photo.gallery/documentation/folder-parameters/

You still won't be able to control both startimage AND have random sorting though ...

thanks for the clarification Karl!

I didn't see the syntax for a start image in the documentation.

Like I said, you can either have random, or not-random ... In the case that you use non-random, you can simply drag-n-drop the images into the sorting order that you want. Of course, this means you can also set the first image, which would be the "start image" ...
