Hi all,
i bought imagevue commercial lkast week and now i need your help, please!
In the documentation there is explained the chance to set passwords for single folders... but the problem is that i can`t see this option in my admin!?
Glasses are cleaned...
Can someone please help me to find the right direction?

You got to download the Imagevue X2.5 beta version if you want to use passwords. We're about to release 2.5 final any day now. There are tons of improvements including folders password. Check this post here also: https://www.photo.gallery/blog/imagevue-x25-beta/

Already downloaded the new beta and the password protection workes fine now!

About passwords somme another features to develop perhaps:

- password for empty folder with subfolders


- one or plus paswords for the same folder (for users with not the same rights) : ex
folder 1 protected by pwd1 pwd2 pwd3
folder 2 protected by pwd1 pwd4
folder 3 protexted by pwd2 pwd4

user1 allowed to watch folder1 and folder2 not folder3 : his pwd is pwd1
user2 allowed to watch folder1 and folder3 : his psw is pwd2
user3 allowed to see only folder 1 : his pwd is pwd3

etc...

Recursive folder passwords make sense, we will probably implement this. What of complex access-leveling - this will just complicate matters more, so we will wait with that.

Try 2.6 beta with recursive passwords and also if you're hosted on Apache server there is included .htaccess example that should provide quite good protection together with folder passwords.
