Re: Imagevue X2.5 Beta Release

Using Safari, but you're right, works fine in Chrome for me.

On a side note, I am using "image.text.text1.enabled=0" but in another gallery,
not that one.

Cheers!

Not too sound like a nag but:
Thumbnail creation seems to take ... forever ...
In 2.1.8 that took 1-4 minutes .

Today I started my first thumbnail creation through 2.5beta (latest download)
at 23:10 of a batch of 143 pictures.
Ans its still running.

Seems something is wrong ... any ideas ?

Edit:
Did it manually on my own system and then recreating them from imagevue backend went like a breeze.
Still wondering why it doenst want to go that way without doing it manually on my own system,

Hi
I've got a strange issue with the 2.5 beta.
In content/ and each subfolder it seems that the "." and the ".." folders entries are incorrectly handled by imagevue and are considered as "real" folder names.

Which means that if I'm in a content/test folder with no subfolder Imagevue will show me the following tree :

Test
------Test (that's not another folder)
------ .

Any idea how to fix it ?

Hello,

With X2.5b, when i put a password in empty folder which contains subfolders, the empty folder is not accessible and the box for logging password does not appear...

Nice release, i am now waiting for the 2.6... :D :D

have you plain a feature for new photos ?

have a good day....

Do you have a link to your gallery with the password folder so we can take a look? As for passwords, they are folder-specific - You cannot set a password to a parent folder and have it protect subfolders. They need to be set explicitly ...

Here is a screenshot of my issue
Image

The "Sélection des plus belles photos d'Alice" album points on the content/___Alice/ folder
This folder has no subfolder

The "." (as listed in a ls) seems to be interpreted and a subfolder "Sélection des plus belles photos d'Alice" fake subfolder is displayed

The ".." (as listed in a ls) seems to be interpreted as the content/ folder (which ismy root folder), resulting of a fake "." subfolder display.

When my imagevuex 2.1 installation points to the same content/ folder I don't have this problem.

Could you please post a link to your gallery or even better provide an ftp login so we could check it on your server?

what did i do wrong ?

ps: i use a default1 theme, made from default but i also uploaded that one.

Ok I got it to work now, i cleaned up my folder on the FTP, removing stuff and now it works ;)

But i still have an insanely long loadtime on the frontpage - close to 30 sec some times, what can I do about it ?

Can't confirm, sorry, everything works fast. Can anybody else check? Some server issues maybe?

Hello !

I have trouble loggin in the Admin-panel...

Which is in ---> http://www.vesakalervoekholm.fi/iv-admin/index.php

After I type in my username and password, hit the login button...nothing happens ?! No error message, no nothing, just that the username and password field go blank.

Doing something wrong or what ?
Best regards,
