Hi,

I have a problem with my thumbnails. They are all created in the admin center but it didn't all appear in the thumbnails screen, unless the pictures exist and appear when I leave the thumbnails screen. So there is 78 files in the folder but only 68 thumbnails appear.

Go to admin, and open the folder, and wait fot the site to build the thumbnails, then it should be ok

or click on Recreate thumbs

Thanks for your answer, but I already did it. The missing thumbnails exist in the admin center but don't appear in the website. Weird!

Try click "clear cache" in admin, and try to clear your browser cache. Still not working? Check in FTP, are the thumbnails actually created in the folder?

Send us a link to your gallery, and we could easily see whats up with thumbnails ...

Ok, after I received your Private message, I did some research. First of all, I can tell you that thumbnails are working here in Firefox:



So why is this? Its something related to filenames or folder names I think -

The other thumbnails seem to load fine (in firefox), but you have incredibly long file- and folder names with spaces and special characters. This could create some problems depending on your server. It could be the "." punctuation, or the very long name.

I think its to do with filenames, also because the flaw seems to be browser-related ...

So I installed the last version but it doesn't solve my problem that is that all thumbnails are created but all don't appear on the thumbnails page of the website. You told me that it was maybe because of too long folder names but I rename one of them and it seems not to work.

You can have a look in this part of the website : Surf Trip / Sahara Occidental décembre 2009 : 68 pictures, only 60 thumbnails appear in the center of the page but they are all present at the bottom.

Any other idea?

This is strange ... Could you provide me login to your admin so I can take a look?

I have fixed the problem by changing the thumbnails "margin" (in your theme) from 9px to 10px. It also worked when setting it to 8px.

I think it is safe to assume there is a small calculation bug in Imagevue which seems to have been triggered in your gallery.
