is there a function to make a backup from my complete imagevue gallery? Or how can I do this?

Ehh backup the entire folder where imagevue is located at through ftp ?

I really see no need for a backup gallery function to be quite honest.
It's not like its using a database or what so ever.

As Patrick mentions, if you need to backup your gallery, we recommend simply downloading your gallery by FTP. Imagevue is simply folder-based, so there is no hocus-pocus going on. Even if there was some backup option, there is little chance any PHP script would have the resources to be able to back up your entire gallery. Perhaps you were thinking of a simple way to backup only titles/descriptions, and/or settings/themes?
