Is the ability to align multiple images on the background coming any time soon? Just curious.

also, with regard to the slideshow filemod, is it possible to make the transition a smoother one, similar to the slideshow transition in the galleries?

when do you expect for the next release to be available?

Sorry, I am not quite sure what you mean here ... You want multiple images in the background?

Unfortunately no. I will see if I can add some parameter for this in next release, which should be by the end of October.

Just an update to this request -

In new version of Imagevue pending for release later this week, you will be able to set transition speed for slideshow on startpage. In fact, we have not added a transition speed setting to the slideshow filemod, but instead you can use the native Imagevue slideshow for your startpage through the new folder parameters setting. Once we have launched the new version, I would be happy to follow up in this post about exactly how to set up a slideshow on startpage with custom transition speed.
