Name descending folder

Hi,

I have a little problem with the name descending function for the folder.

It is for this folder: http://www.alexis-goure.com / Auto / Shooting Complet.

I have some folder I want to organize in name descending order. But it doesn't work... (It is in name ascending order)

So what have I to do to fix this problem?

Regards,

Alexis

you need to rename folders as maybe 0001, 0002, 0003 etc: in the order you want them to appear, and "name descending" will list them in the correct order..

I have made it with the "date" like this: 20100826,20100825,20091205... but it is in name ascending order every time (for name descending, date ascending, date descending, etc...)

I don't think it 'listens' to the date, because the folders will probably be made on the same date, not like exif info !!

I have tested something, in the setting we can change the default system order, I have tried with name descending and it worked. But if I put name ascending in default, I can't change just for one folder...

Please can you give me a link to your gallery, and login to your admin so I can look at this? I am sure there is some logical explanation why the sorting doesnt change ...

This folder only has other folders inside ... This means you can't sort it with the FILESORTING options in the admin menu. You can set your folder sorting globally from the SETTINGS page, goto settings.defaultSortFolders ...

If you need to sort the folders manually, you will have to edit the foldernames to suit your sorting by using numbers to sort them correctly.

In the next release of Imagevue, we are introducing manual folder sorting from the admin.
