Guess this will be an easy one (aka "yes, Im a noob, please bear with me"):

I have a problem regarding "large controls": the buttons appear not only while browsing images, but also when viewing the thumbnails page.
I dont want to use "autohide" (would like to use autohide as main controls, so I feel the should be visible at all time + using autohide wont stop the buttons from appearing in the thumbnail gallery when mousing over them).

ok, so basically ... you want largecontrols entirely REMOVED from thumbnails mode? The largecontrols are used to navigate through pages in thumbnails view, although they currently display also if there are no more pages ... This will be fixed for next version.
