I believe it would be better to pre-rotate images before uploading. I suffer from this myself :/

Bad news...
Do you know any software which CAN rotate automaticly by reading thé exif info of all the file in a folder?

Hmm, all my pics rotate properly in iPhoto and also are retained when uploaded into Imagevue. Wonder where the difference is ... Does iphoto automatically change their orientation from Exif and then rotate the physical oritentation also prior to upload? When I was on windows earlier, I used to use Irfanview (
www.irfanview.com) to batch rotate images based on EXIF orientation ...

Actually I don't, in Mac OS you see images correctly rotated but when you upload they are suddenly wrongly oriented.

What exactly is the question here? In Imagevue, you can rotate images from the admin ... See the top right button here, available after clicking an image in the admin:

Are you having some problems with the uploader rotating your images or something?

Sorry I was not clear..
I know how to rotate one image manualy
but as the information of the portrait/landscape of the picture is in the exif format and has almost every image viewer autorotate automaticly, i was surprised that Imagevue can't do this.
And by reading the forum I had the feeling that it was possible for Imagevue to auto rotate the portrait picture by reading the exif format.
Was I wrong ?

The problem is that GD library, bundled with php can't do loseless rotation, okay small quality decline is acceptable but it also strips EXIF data from the image.
We tried to fix it using ImageMagick library, unfortunately that led to more issues, it simply didn't work on some servers where it was installed.
So right now there is no auto-rotation in Imagevue.
