Hello!
I'm seeing the gallery include imagevuex within a tab in my Facebook fan page.
Facebook disable the direct option of using iframes and now we must do so by creating a facebook app.
anyone tried it? any experience?
Thanks and regards.

You could use imagevuex within a tab of your facebook earlier? I have never seen this ...
Facebook app? It could be an option. You want to have a hosted Imagevue, and then easily link it into facebook? Wouldnt it be better perhaps with some html/javascript solution for this app instead of using SWF?

Good morning:
I've been researching and could be done in 2 ways:
Swf directly integrate the FBML code:
http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Fb:swf
Creating a Facebook-App to call imagevuex html code of your hosting.
I will continue searching and I start testing.
Greetings!

EDIT - never mind this. I mixed the reply up with another post:
mjau-mjau wrote:Thanks ... That looks interesting. The only thing that it doesn't seem to be directly related to the Facebook "like" button which is a bit special ... It may be possible though ... but not sure if its easier than using an iframe.

Looks interesting, I will take a closer look in time. I would still think a html layout style would be more functional as an Imgevue frontend for Facebook though ...

Facebook apps that run flash already exist. I used one for a time (but don't recall the name). You just need to do a through search of the FB applications.

Looked it up. It's called "My Web Embed". It handles SWF.

Interesting ... I will have a go at it soon. Don't really see that an Imagevue gallery embedded into Facebook will be such an important feature, especially because it needs to be downsized. Then again, its a nice way to share your photos on facebook without having to set up a separate gallery ...

Agreed....was just pointing out that an app exists for it.
People can't comment on or share a specific image using Imagevue in FB, which is what FB is really all about. A URL in the "Information" side bar to the hosted IV gallery is probably a better idea.
