Thumbs....

Is there a possibility to make automatic thumbnails who don't start from one of the edges of the original picture?
I use borders around my pictures so it would be nice if the thumbs where created from the middle of the pictures?
is this possible or will this be a future thingy?

We've got this planned this but right now there is no such option unfortunately.

can't wait for the new feature to come.....
is there for now a possibility to make the thumbs manual, and replace the automated thumbs with te manualy?
can this be done thrue the admin panel or do I have to digg for the thumbs by myself?

You can currently create custom thumbnails manually, but not from the admin unfortunately. The process is pretty simple:
If you have an image: mypicture.jpg
... you can create a thumbnail: tn_mypicture.jpg
As you can see, just use the same filename but add "tn_" in front ...
