"Hard" Image button functions?

I like my images to fill as much of the stage as possible. Which looks great, but doesn't leave much room for descriptions except for "rollovers" via the Info button.

The problem is, you then can't have "clickable" info/links within the rollover display as mousing away causes the Info button to go away.

What do you think of the idea of having 1 clickable button (on and off) that would display the info and in a pop up with the description and any other meta data chosen to display, including links and buy buttons and whatnot...everything.

This would increase flexibility exponentially.

Also, you could include all button functionality in the popup. 1 button opens the popup, which would incude info & links for full screen, buy now, send image, contact form, and all the other functionality previously available through the multiple buttons.

This would be much cleaner. 1 button to replace many.

This is of course an option, but I dont see how it is cleaner ... As of now, there are no buttons, until you rollover the image and see available buttons.

I am not against your suggestion, but I think it would be a separate optional solution. After all, we are talking about displaying a potensial huge amount of text+meta data as well as any buttons after clicking some generic "info"-button.

Understand. It seemed a good idea when it materialized in the wee hours of the morning...but in the light of day I see your point...
