How many images can Imagevue handle?

Hey guys,
I'm the webmaster of a website of a Hollywood actress. Our website is huge and we have literally thousands of images in our image gallery and we are pushing what Menalto Gallery 2.0 can handle! And we can't upgrade to 3.0 and there's no reason to think it would be better at handling the volume we're throwing at it.
So simple question both to the Imagevue coders and everyone else - how many images/folders/subfolders can Imagevue handle?
I am not exaggerating when I say we are looking at 5 digits and within a few years maybe even break 6 digits.

Hiya stoff !!!! huh, lucky you.... I have a double ImageVueX ( 2 galleries, one Chinese, one English ( PROPER English)) they are my photo and small video diary of my life in China, since May 2004 until this time... approximately 8Gbs of photos, and of course growing daily !!! no worries at all, ImageVueX is VERY VERY capable, and soooooooooooooooooooo easy to use.... I don't give it a second thought about the massive number of pics and folders any more... problem may come from having to upload your 5 figures to another software "system".. don't envy you the DAYS that will take... had to do it myself when I changed from one to ImageVueX, but honestly, I am VERY glad I took the proverbial quantum leap... and the people at ImageVue are really the best I've seen when it comes to help, you wont be left in the cold my friend. But, like I say, "who am I...??" You can always take the plunge and set up a "test" site... I'll stake my wonderful reputation on the fact that you will very soon be using it as the "main" site... that just leaves me with these few words... "good luck mate.. let us know when it's up and running?? "

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I will be able to create a test-site since there are no evaluation versions downloadable, as far as I can see anyway?
Today in our Gallery 2 we have the images in in folders/subfolders, so it will "only" be a matter of labling a few hundre galleries, not actually having to upload stuff.
Thanks for the feedback.

To be honest with you, Imagevue is perhaps not targeted towards large photo archives like you mention. Technically it should work, although there may be some slowdowns. We were planning an update that would virtually make it work fast, but in my humble opinion, Imagevue is most effective for smaller prortfolios and showcases.
