CONTENT folder deleted 2 times - second install in subfolder

02 Mar 2010, 06:36

Hi Team and specialists

I report a strange problem with a clients page.
I installed some months ago Imageveux for a client and he needed annother subalbum for his clients (pics from clients - not to show on mainpage).

That for I created a subfolder and installed again the full version including all needed folders into this folder.
After working fine for some weeks (client uploaded his pics, music etc) - suddenly the whole CONTENT FOLDER was deleted!!!

I thought it was his fault, because he used an FTP programm to upload big folders.
But now it happened again - he does not use anymore an FTP program and uploads always only 10 pics at once and does everything right.

Did anyone have this problem before?
I run about 120 domains on my managed server (high level) and never had a problem like that.
:?: :?: :?:

Never seen anything like it, are you sure they not deleted it by accident? Also which version are you using? We strongly recommend to keep imagevue updated to latest release all the time.

cannot find failure

cannot find mistake - don ´t think it was possible to delete by accident, because client does not use any ftp programm. Always in backoffice.

Using last version.

Wanna have the link?

I don't think Imagevue has to power to delete your entire content folder either. It certain can't do things by "magic" in the background. Either its a human mistake, an error from your host/service provider, or a hacker (although I doubt that).

I checked your gallery now, and it currently looks fine at least!

This is the first time we hear about anything like this despite thousands of installations. If this happens again try to get more info about how it did happen.
