I've a strange issue, and completely random, sometimes it works, the next day it doesn't.
Using: V2.1.6

When i upload foto's in de gallery folder it's qued, when a image is uploaded it says completed, but also says 0 uploaded. Then, when the que is finished i enter the login screen and i'm logged out.

First it happened with the user i made for my client. The Admin still worked, but now both users are displaying the same strange behaviour.

I have to admit i get 2 errors:
Suhosin (orange warning sign)
open basedir (red cross)

But before, on another server i was able to use it without issues with the same errors. Also it does work sometimes on this one.

Could it be one of these errors? Also tried the .htaccess php_flag suhosin.simulation On trick to disable it.

The content folders are all CHMOD 777, so have read rights.

I've now selected "Remember me" with login, which solves the login issue, but still no images uploaded.

Anything else what could cause this?

The content folders should be 777, but I think you maybe need to open the folders in FTP and 777 the files too, some FTPs don't actually chmod the contents of the chmodded folders...
It always says "0 files uploaded", until the queue is finished then as it starts to list the thumbs, it tells you how many files were uploaded, but it's not visible for long, so you have to watch closely !!! Does it display the thumbnails of the uploaded stuff ??? if it does, then your server-side is at fault if you can't see the images.. if it doesn't display the thumbnails, then obviously, the images are not being uploaded.

I did CHMOD them to 777, tried it a couple of times now, als recursive into directory and files.

Using FTP works, but isn't the way to present it to your client obviously

So i'm still clueless

Try changing the upload in "settings" from the flash uploader to the http one and see if that does it ???

Hm, that seems to work ...
So it's the SWFuploader? How could i fix this? Because adding one image at the time isn't a great solution when you have to upload 100's

I can't really help you with that part of it !!!! I had the same probs when I started uploading, and just kept swapping between the two methods, now the flash upload seems to work ok, but I have to reupload a few times 'cause I get a good few errors, but by adding the failed ones to the bottom of the upload list each time, they finally all get there... I have uploaded about 8Gbs up to this time !!!

This sounds like suhosin, .htaccess trick should disable it, but sometimes hosting provider does not allow you to do that thru .htaccess, send them a message maybe they'll help you to disable it.
