Can't change name of website - or get description in Google?

26 Feb 2010, 08:01

Hello - when I view my website in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the top left hand tag (= name of the website) reads 'ImageVue gallery, intro' .
http://www.benwoodhams.com/

Likewise, when I google the site, the title of the site is listed as 'Index of/', and the text reads like html script.

I have tried updating 'site title' and 'description' (seo) on the 'Settings' page, but it doesn't seem to make any difference?

Looking forward to your reply!

In your admin panel, select "settings", then scroll down and you will find where to change the site title... underneath "theme". Remember to clear the cache before exit admin panel and after saving new settings !!!

Hello - I've changed the name to 'Ben Woodhams illustrator' in the 'site title' field, under the 'theme' field, in 'settings', saved and cleared the cache, as you suggested, but the problem still remains as before?!

Any more pointers/ideas please?

Cheers, Ben
