hi swamphox,
i use relatively large background 1600x1400 let's say and i have set it to be centered top and not scalable. I guess it depends what you are looking for. My background is not seamless, so scaling and tiling doesn't work.
I saw you gallery, Balto is a very beautiful city, and I enjoyed my stay there. Your nice photos brought back memories :)
Best regards, G

Thanks for the response! This site is under construction but thanks for the compliments. I didn't realize there was a way to "anchor" the background. I would like to have my logo in the upper right corner and have it appear there no matter what size screen happens to open my page. I am sure I will have more questions about this.

I have been working on the integration of Lightroom gallery using the imagevue shopping cart(LRG with paypal is a free download) with paypal to make purchasing prints easy. It is really working out well. If you or anyone else out there know about LRG and how to customize those backgrounds to match the background on imagevue, please contact me. Using LRG with imagevue for shopping cart is really easy and effective, I just would like the screens to match a little better.

Just looking at your original question, there are several settings in the theme config for controlling the background image. You can set it NOT to scale, or you can set it to scale in a few different ways. There are also options for alignment and repeating the image - You can pretty much do anything conceivable, as long as it involves a single image.

I would need some more info on what exactly you are trying to do, and what kinda background you wanna show to give any more recommendations.

I am working on putting my logo on the background. I received a reply to using the background image anchoring it and that problem is solved.

With regards to using/replacing "gallery menu" text with my logo. While investigating this I noticed that I do not have all of the options available to me that you show in the tutorial. I understand that some settings may be preventing from these dialogs from showing in my admin. Can you briefly tell me what to look for to make these options available in order to customize this gallery menu.

I have question about my lightroom gallery for my shopping cart. I realize this is way out of the context of Imagevue but do you have any knowledge of Lightroom galleries and if you do, what program(s) would one use to customize a Lightroom Gallery? Any direction for this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response, I love this X2, the learning curve is a little steep but once you find your way around it is truly great!

Thanks

Unless you are using a very outdated version of Imagevue, I cant understand what settings you are missing. Perhaps you can be more specific? Also, as far as I know, the "replacing" of the "gallery menu" text with a logo, involves actually REMOVING the text and having the image/logo display in the background instead. It doesnt really involve swapping theme exactly...

Sorry, I have no experience with lightroom ...
