Minor error, i guess:

1) Go to admin, themes
2) "Create new" from the default theme, give it a name
3) Delete again the newly created theme

Result:
The box "Theme <xxxx> succesfully deleted" appears, but the theme itself remains in the available themes list as if nothing happend.

Expected:
The newly created theme was deleted and does not appear in the list.

Tested with two browsers (as i apparently had problems with Chrome at some points). Does not only happen with copies from default.

Maybe a chmod problem?

Sorry, you say this only happens to "default" theme and not to any of the other default themes? There is no technical difference between these themes. Actually I am not quite sure what you mean here, you say "The newly created theme was deleted and does not appear in browser".

This could be some setting on your server, safe_mode, suhosin or missing chmod permissions. If you can provide link+login, I can take a look ....

I put the "result" in the post and the "expected" result. The expectect result was "the newly created theme was deleted".

Checked chmod, 777 for everything including subfolders.

To cut a long story short: when clicking the "delete" link next to a theme in the list nothing but a confirmation message appears without the theme being deleted.

Sorry, this really looks like a bug. We'll fix it for the next release.
