I been playing with vertical menu i think this can pretty good too. but it lack some customization setting.
here is some i noticed that can be improved w/ vertical menu.
1. possible to fixed the first folder.
2. left / top margin.
3. ability to set total width.
4. ability to center the menu.

I presume you mean the horizontal menu?

Yes, the horizontal menu could do we a lot of improved features as currently it is simply a spin-off from the vertical menu. Please read more here:

Until we create a dedicated horizontal menu, this option will be limited.
