question about vertical_margin

Hi,

im trying to put a background image to replace the "gallery menu". i added 50px in vertical_margin under theme menu.

i notice it also added 50px under the menu. how to i remove that? i only want 50px from the top.

By default, vertical_margin sets margins on both side of the menu. However, if you are setting the menu background to fully transparent, does it matter that there is some margin below? Perhaps you have a link to your gallery?

I assume you have already read this post about adding logo above menu?

yes i already read mr pain's post about adding logo. i just want to add a border or background color to the menu. anyway i changed the position of my logo.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding - As you see in the main demo www.photo.gallery/soda, there is a semi-transparent background behind the menu, and also semi-transparent background for each button in the menu. You can tweak the transparency and color of these items through your THEME editor.
