Hi,

I purchased imagevue last spring, and I'm very happy with the look of my site.
Now when I need my portfolio up to date, I am afraid I am a little rusty using the template, and I have a few problems..

I need to play flash vid or other vid on my site, but they dont seem to play.
I havent downloaded the latest update, but I am afraid that I will loose the work I have done to my template when I do. Will this happen?
I have new problem with safe_mode. I didnt get this before. How do I turn this off on my server domene?

Hi,

I have talked with my domene provider, and they cannot remove safe mode for me.
I'm having some problems now with replacing images and adding new work to my portfolio, they wont refresh or update.

Is there a step by step guide to installation of the new update of imagevue?Maybe installing the new update will fix some of the problems I have, atleast the flash vid part. I'm familiar with the fact the version I am using atm doesnt support vid.

Your thumbnails arent loading, simply because they dont seem to exist. See this image: http://www.marielyshol.com/content/Port ... priest.jpg , and its proposed thumbnail should be here, but its not: http://www.marielyshol.com/content/Port ... priest.jpg

Did you see the thumbnails from admin? Did you try to create thumbnails from admin? It may be safe_mode preventing creation and saving thumbnails to the folder. Perhaps you can provide me with admin access(by private message) so I can take a poke around?

I would love to add a CV, or a text file. I'm trying to add in the codes for paragraphs,text sizes and so on, but it doesn't work for me.
I would like something similar to http://www.fredram.com/ in the about section, but with an image.

Another question, if I download the latest update, will it reset the work I have done so far?

To add a CV, you would create a new menu-item, and then set it as TEXTPAGE in the panel on the right hand side. The resulting page will show a text editor where you can create your CV. Unfortunately, flash textfields are not flawless interpretors of html, so it may take some experimentation to get the text layout just the way you want it. Especially images are hard to lay out properly in flash textfields. The result you have in the editor may not be exactly like the result you get in your textpage.

If you download the latest version, you can simply upload the "imagevue" folder from the downloaded zip. You will be keeping your "content" folder with all files, folders and documents, and when uploading the program files in "imagevue", it simply overwrites old files. You will keep your custom configuration files.
