Do I rewrite each folders' .xml?

Or does IVX (imaguevueX) do it automatically?

It's not that I mind or anything: I love to code.

So, I guess my question is: Do I simply upload images to folders, where IVX rewrites the .xml for each folder?

There is some automation - You certainly don ´t need to worry about it. In most admin processes, the XML is updated automatically after the event. However, if you for example change some files through FTP, you will have to go to the admin and click "Clear Cache" from the main menu to update the XML files.

Keep in mind, the XML files are not always required to be synced with files/folders. Imagevue is still a real-time gallery that reads files and folders directly from folder structure. XML are generally only used for titles, descriptions and other attributes.

I guess we could get more technical, but then Nick would have to fill in ...

What is the question then? Yes just upload images, then visit your folder in admin so thumbnails will be created. That's about it.

Nevermind, I got it

Actually, disregard any posting I made. I got it all figured out in the days since I posted them.

Thanks, though.
